Hand-Lancing/Hydro-blasting Technicians are responsible for efficiently removing deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers to restore, improve, and maintain their optimal operating performance. Hydro Technicians need to have the ability to mobilize at short notice to travel and perform work in our customers' facilities across the country. Airfare/lodging/daily per-diem provided. This is a 100% Traveling job, throughout the US, overnight Conco Services LLC is seeking several dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as a Hand-Lancing/Hydro-blasting Technicians for cleaning condensers in Power Plants and Petro-Chem refineries throughout the Country. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our industrial maintenance operations, ensuring that all our customers' equipment is functioning optimally and that all tasks are completed safely and effectively. The Hand-Lancing/Hydro-blasting Technician will be responsible for but not limited to operating high-pressure water blasting equipment to clean and remove deposits, coatings, and obstructions from industrial surfaces, pipes, tanks, and other systems. This role involves manual handling of high-pressure lances and hoses, requiring precision, safety awareness, and physical stamina. The technician must adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow company and client procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations. Work is often performed in confined spaces, at heights, and in various industrial environments such as refineries, chemical plants, fossil and nuclear power plants and manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License.
Entry Level - good mechanical skills; previous hydoblasting or applicable experience in the industry, 6 months or one outage/turnaround season and is learning technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work away from home as needed.
Use of necessary PPE and safe handling procedures when dealing with chemicals and other materials.
Ability to use PPE – respirator, face shield, chemical resistant suit or apron, chemical resistant gloves, personnel wash stations, weight scale, micrometer, temperature monitoring devices, cranes, chemical transfer pumps, product racking, barrel dolly, forklift.
Ability to interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of employees.
Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
Must be able to work M-SUN, as required.
100% Travel is required and the ability to travel anywhere in the Continental US with short notice.
Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, stair climbing, and reaching in various work environments.
Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs. (occasionally heavier with assistance).
Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc).
Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and safely.
Driving for extended periods to customer sites, sometimes in remote locations.
Working in confined spaces.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Be aware of and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Water-blasting/lancer activity 20/40K psi.
Set up and breakdown of Hydro-Blasting equipment.
Load and unload equipment for the job.
Additional processes for the job as well as performing daily manual labor in an industrial setting, ability to obtain and maintain security access for nuclear unescorted badge access.
Participate in team safety meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.
Online/remote safety training as required.
