About The Position

The Apprentice Hand Engraver at Tiffany & Co. is responsible for developing hand engraving skills to meet the company's quality and productivity standards. This role involves close collaboration with a master engraver to learn essential techniques and safety practices in a workshop environment, with the goal of progressing to a Staff Engraver position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong experience in calligraphy or hand-lettering.
• Successful completion of up to three mechanical, artistic, and lettering assessments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in jewelry or related crafts.
• Experience in a metal shop (smithing, welding, cutting metals).

Responsibilities

• Learn hand engraving techniques under the guidance of a master engraver.
• Participate in milestone meetings to discuss progress and feedback.
• Follow all safety guidelines and practices in the workshop.
