About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently, utilizing your organization and time management skills, and building retailer relationships as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Use technology for day-to-day work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers, being responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Provide holiday support, expecting additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
  • Be available to work on actual holidays, including weekends, for occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
  • Participate in Department Resets, which may include building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections, with typically two weeks' advance notice.
  • Support other team members in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization and "One Team Vision".
