About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser for Hallmark, you will work independently, utilizing your organizational and time management skills, and building relationships with retailers. You will represent Hallmark, collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and manage inventory. This role also involves supporting team members with seasonal resets and installations, and occasionally working with products from other companies in serviced stores. The position primarily involves performing service work in Hallmark departments within various retail environments like grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. Key aspects include day-to-day engagement using a company-provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory, both within and outside the designated department. Technology use is crucial for daily tasks, communication with your supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and surveys. Professional interaction with store staff and customers is essential. You will be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display in your assigned stores. The role also includes significant holiday support, requiring additional days and extended hours before and after major holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Working on actual holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, including weekends, may be required. Furthermore, you may participate in department resets, which involve tasks like building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections, with typically two weeks' notice for remodel assignments, potentially including evenings or weekends. As part of Hallmark's field organization, you are expected to support other team members in their territories as needed.
