About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to apply your organization and time management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. Your role involves collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and manage inventory. You will also support team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, including grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
• Utilize a Hallmark-provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products both within and outside the Hallmark department.
• Use technology for daily tasks, communication with your supervisor, time reporting, providing feedback, and completing surveys for merchandising activities.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers.
• Manage the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
• Work additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
• Be available to work on actual holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, which may include weekends.
• Participate in Department Resets, which may involve building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections, with typically two weeks' advance notice for remodel assignments.
• Support other team members in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization.
