About The Position

The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for several non-tenure track Hale Assistant Professorships to begin in Fall 2026, though pending administrative approval- an appointment may begin sooner as well. The position consists of an annually renewable three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School. In addition to a reduced teaching load in the first year, the position includes research funding. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students. Requirements

A PhD or its equivalent in the Mathematical Sciences, granted not more than 5 years prior the start of the appointment.
An earned doctorate is required by the start of the appointment.
