About The Position
The base salary for this position is $23.58 hourly. The Host/Hostess is the guest's first impression of our HaLani restaurant and this person holds a very important role. The Host/Hostess sets the tone, pace and vibe for the room with a warm greeting, eye contact and aloha. Proper, accurate and kind escorting is critical along with managing reservations, server stations and timing patterns of our guests. This person has a complete working knowledge of the menu and menu ingredients. The successful candidate will work in a face paced and high volume work environment and provide consistent luxury guest experience. Previous Host/Hostess experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred. AM and PM shifts available.
Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate preferred.
- Previous related experience preferred.
- CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred.
