About The Position

The Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program offers a paid, full-time, 9-week internship experience for college students, providing hands-on exposure to the product life-cycle in a leading beauty company. Interns will work closely with the Specialty Product Development team, gaining valuable insights into product development, marketing, and packaging processes while contributing to impactful projects.

Requirements

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor's degree
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Responsibilities

• Support Specialty Product Development team in all aspects of developing products for launch
• Conduct competitive research as needed by category to support formula and collection ideation
• Work with Product Development Manager to learn shade approval process
• Create Marketing Bulletin templates to understand holistic view of launches from a product development and marketing standpoint
• Assist team in preparing hand samples, fulfilling comp requests, and creating swatch videos
• Gain exposure to packaging development process for all limited-edition collections & eye categories
• Maintain and organize product closets
