About The Position

Kohler Waters Spa – Lincoln Park is seeking a talented and guest-focused Part-Time Hairstylist to join our luxury spa team. The Hairstylist will provide professional hair services including cuts, styling, and treatments ext. while delivering an exceptional guest experience in a spa environment. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois Cosmetology License, demonstrate strong communication skills, maintain a professional appearance, and be committed to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Previous salon or spa experience is preferred. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older at time of application.
Current and valid WI State license with at least 1 years of experience in license field required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior experience in a spa environment required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Booking/Scheduling technology experience helpful.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Meeting and greeting guests with professionalism
Cleanliness standards of all areas within the spa including treatment rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
Using proper verbiage at all times
Upholding and maintain set uniform and grooming standards
Knowledge of spa services and amenities
Knowledge of emergency procedures
Providing the highest level of technical service and adherence to SOP’s
Meeting agreed upon retail sales goals by educating guests on at home care (Sales goals set depending on department and retail to service percentage)
Maintain continuing education criteria based on State of Wisconsin requirements
Adhering to policies put in place by Forbes, Kohler Waters Spa and Kohler Co.
Perform special event treatments which can be held at various locations such as golf courses, Riverbend, Sports Core, TAC, etc. This would also include special events being hosted at the spa such as Spaliday. These services would be secondary to the position's primary function.
