About The Position

As a Fin Press assistant, you will be trained on how to operate the fin press along with various other duties. Your primary goal is to help the Fin press operators load/unload fin packs, clean up around the fin presses, and staging for production flow.

Requirements

• Machine operator experience is preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)
• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills
• General labor skills
• Ability to move at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
• Wear the necessary PPE for the position

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, stacking, and moving pallets
• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed
• Learn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Learn how to perform changeovers
• Load programs/inputs into the machine control
• Learn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
• Use proper tools on the machine
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
