We invite you to join our team! - Part-Time Contract Opportunity Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays, Afternoons and Evenings Pay based on services completed Flexible schedule What You'll Do: As a Hairdresser in our center, you will make a difference, one style at a time! You will provide professional hair care and other beauty-related services to our cherished residents. In this unique and rewarding role, you’ll play a vital part in helping residents feel their best, supporting dignity, confidence, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide a full range of hair care services including cuts, styling, shampooing, color, and perms for elderly residents. Create a warm, respectful, and engaging salon environment that makes residents feel at home. Maintain a clean and sanitized salon space in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Consult with residents (and occasionally family members) to understand their preferences and needs. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and kindness while serving individuals with varying physical and cognitive abilities. Maintain accurate records of appointments and services provided. Collaborate with facility staff to schedule appointments and coordinate care plans as needed. Previous experience working with older adults or in a long-term care setting (highly preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with seniors and staff. Requirements

  • Current New York State cosmetology license and proof of liability insurance.
