Primarily responsible for hair-oriented duties, providing guests with the highest quality of customer service to include performing professional hair services. This position reports to the Manager of Beauty Services.
Requirements
- Arizona State Cosmetology Licence or similar beauty license.
- Must have completed professional cosmetologist education by accredited school and complete continued education as required by Cosmetology Board.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum preferred associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provides guests with various professional hair services, must perform a minimum of Hair Cuts, Blow Dry, Updo and Wedding Hair services.
- Maintains knowledge of current hair service techniques and styles.
- Maintains an up to date knowledge of all beauty treatments offered including the benefits and contraindications.
- Educates guests about individual Hair Care needs and maintains retail sales quotas according to Salon Retail Policy.
- Maintains a clean, stocked and organized work station consistent with Canyon Ranch and State Board standards.
- Is prompt and communicates frequently with Beauty Service Assistants to stay informed of cancellations and rescheduled services.
- Communicates regularly with Beauty Services Management and submits all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Notifies Spa Management of any problems or potential hazards, safety concerns or related issues surrounding guest safety.
