About The Position

Hair Stylist Valley View Retirement Community PRN (As Needed) • 8AM - 4PM• Monday through Friday Valley View is seeking a caring and dependable Hair Stylist to provide quality hair care services while supporting resident comfort, dignity, and well-being. In this role, you will assist with scheduling appointments, deliver a variety of hair care services, and maintain accurate service records—all while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This position works closely with Social Services, nursing staff, and the salon team to create a positive and enjoyable experience for those we serve. Requirements

Valid and current Pennsylvania cosmetology license
Must possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
Tactful and professional interaction with residents, families, staff, visitors, and agencies

Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling resident hair care appointments based on preferences and care schedules
Follow the daily appointment schedule and coordinate substitutions when needed
Provide hair care services including cuts, colors, perms, and styling
Ensure equipment and supplies are prepared prior to the start of each day
Maintain accurate records of services provided to residents
