Hair Stylist: Part-Time
About The Position
Hair Stylist Valley View Retirement Community Part-Time • 8AM - 4PM• Monday through Friday Valley View is seeking a caring and dependable Hair Stylist to provide quality hair care services while supporting resident comfort, dignity, and well-being. In this role, you will assist with scheduling appointments, deliver a variety of hair care services, and maintain accurate service records—all while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This position works closely with Social Services, nursing staff, and the salon team to create a positive and enjoyable experience for those we serve.
Requirements
- Valid and current Pennsylvania cosmetology license
- Must possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
- Tactful and professional interaction with residents, families, staff, visitors, and agencies
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling resident hair care appointments based on preferences and care schedules
- Follow the daily appointment schedule and coordinate substitutions when needed
- Provide hair care services including cuts, colors, perms, and styling
- Ensure equipment and supplies are prepared prior to the start of each day
- Maintain accurate records of services provided to residents
