About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The hair stylist performs a broad range of services including shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring, and highlighting by meeting the Club’s standards by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs hair style consultation to decide what services the member needs.
Provides services to members such as shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring, and highlighting as desired.
Maintains safety standards and a clean and professional workspace.
Emphasizes product benefits and assists members in the selection of retail products or services for their hair care needs.
Maintains a consistent relationship with the members to ensure they return.
Proactively develop new members as clients.
Completes services in a timely manner.
Attend and participate in continuing education and training to learn and follow new trends and techniques.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of two (2) years as hair stylist in a high-volume salon.
• State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Cosmetology License required
• Conduct the day-to-day operations of the spa in a business-like, ethical, and professional manner.
• Strive to exceed customer service expectations of the members.
• Maintain good working relationships with club members and employees.
• Utilize a clear speaking voice in the English language.
• Dress appropriately for position; professional manner and well groomed.
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a high-end private club, resort or hotel is preferred.
