Voted Top Workplaces in 2025 Seeking experienced Cosmetologist to join Christwood Community Center’s Lotus Spa team. The ideal candidate will have access to our existing book of business with opportunity to expand and serve over 600 potential clients already connected to the Christwood community. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful setting nestled in the hub of Covington. Lotus Spa opened in 2014 and is located in Christwood’s 23,000 square foot state of the art Community Center located at 100 Christwood Blvd. Christwood’s Mission is to help Seniors live with dignity, independence and the assurance of needed physical, spiritual and medical care. Requirements

• Current Cosmetology License
• Proof of Liability Insurance
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with elderly clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with adaptive equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and chemical treatments.
• Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures.
• Consult with residents to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services.
• Offer a flexible schedule, supporting the needs of the client.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon area, ensuring compliance of the Louisiana standards of sanitation and sterilization as required.
• Be professional and courteous at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality and tranquil spa environment.
