About The Position
Accenture Flex offers local, fixed-duration, project-based work. As a Custom Software Engineer, the role involves developing custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications using modern frameworks and agile practices. The engineer is expected to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This position requires the individual to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Accenture Flex employees work onsite at the client's project location in their local metro area, reducing travel demands. The role requires working on-site at the client’s office three days per week and 5 days away per quarter mandated by the client. Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Hadoop
- Experience working with large data sets using big data solutions
- Experienced Database developer in Hadoop platform, SQL, Hive, Spark, debugging, and performance tuning
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Advanced proficiency in Apache Hive
- Advanced proficiency in Software Design & Solutions and Software Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and Apache Spark
