  • Design and build large-scale machine learning algorithms to optimize e-commerce search engines, including query analysis, retrieval, ranking, and correlation calculations.
  • Build machine learning solutions and algorithm strategies by analyzing a large number of user queries to empower merchants and improve platform matching capabilities.
  • Support the rapid development of TikTok's e-commerce business, serving millions of buyers and sellers, and exploring efficient business models.
  • PhD Degree in computer science or relevant areas.
  • Solid foundation in data structure and algorithm design, proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or R.
  • Familiarity with common machine/deep learning algorithms, including classification, regression, clustering methods, and mathematical programming.
  • Experience with at least one framework of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet, including training and deployment details.
  • Familiarity with big data frameworks, preferably MR or Spark.
  • Passion for designing machine learning algorithms for search engines and recommendation systems.
  • Experience in recommendation systems, online advertising, ranking, search, information retrieval, or large-scale data mining.
  • Publications in conferences such as KDD, NeurIPS, WWW, SIGIR, ICML, or experience in data mining/machine learning competitions like Kaggle.
