About The Position

This position is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products and plant systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Poultry industry required or other QA type experience
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
  • Good problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • Math and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications
  • Must function well under stress
  • Must have flexibility to work where and when needed

Responsibilities

  • Performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems
  • Documenting and calculating results accurately
  • Taking corrective actions when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products
  • Reporting results to management
  • Undertaking any additional assignments as requested
  • All team members are responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety.
