The Revenue Auditor position at IMG Casino/Casino Apache is a critical role within the Accounting Department, specifically focused on auditing revenue generated from various casino operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records related to table games, slots, card games, and food and beverage services. The Revenue Auditor will work closely with the Revenue Audit Supervisor to conduct thorough audits of source documents and summary sheets, adhering to the Internal Control System (ICS) and the policies and procedures outlined in the IMGR&C/Casino Apache Travel Center manual. In this role, the Revenue Auditor will reconcile and recap revenue obtained from casino operations, reviewing various paperwork including cage and vault documents, hard and soft count sheets, and other revenue center paperwork. The auditor will prepare statistical reports that are essential for casino management to detect errors, identify potential fraud, and make informed business decisions. Safeguarding all revenue-related documents is a key responsibility, ensuring that all paperwork, tickets from soft counts, and any envelopes containing sensitive information are properly managed. The Revenue Auditor will complete daily audit steps as indicated on the revenue auditors' daily checklists, identifying any statistical variances that require further explanation and follow-up. This position may also involve assisting independent and internal auditors as needed, ensuring compliance with all auditing standards and practices. The role does not include supervisory responsibilities, but it does require access to sensitive areas and information related to casino revenue records and reports.
