About The Position
Join our amazing printing team in Durham, NC! Do you enjoy the flexibility of a rotating work schedule? Our team works 12-hr rotating shifts. The job involves reading production schedules, paper allocation, and bills of laden to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed. You will convey materials and items from dock areas, roll prep or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. The role requires weighing and/or counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed, and preparing paper for presses and finished product for shipment. You will check skid tickets, ledgers, bills of laden, manifests, and roll reports for accuracy, sort and place materials on racks, floor, yard or trailers according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, date, color, or product code, and drive vehicles to transport items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment and load trucks. Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment and keep the warehouse and equipment clean.
