About The Position

The Market at the Mountain Cashier is responsible for maintaining an organized system of cash handling, credit card payments, and all required POS, as well as opening and closing procedures. The Cashier will provide prompt, friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers and other Team Members, perform cleaning duties as required by the manager, and maintain a clean and organized Cashier Station.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• One year experience as cashier preferred.
• Ability to maintain physical requirements of the job.
• Accurately handle cash and process credit cards.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
• Understand how to get the information needed to complete tasks to standard.
• Demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks to standard.
• Take ownership of problems and solve them when solutions may not be available.
• Provide guests with directions or other venue information.
• Act upon all complaints in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
• Respond to obstacles and find new ways to reach desired end results.
• Support achievement of Quality Goal; 'Do it right the first time.'
• Protect and preserve property of IMGR&C.
• Serve others and identify needs of guests and others.
• Take ownership of guest problems until they are solved.
• Meet IMGR&C Appearance standards.
• Inform supervisor of future absences as far in advance as possible.
• Work all Marketing Special Events and Concerts.
