About The Position
At H&M, as a Retail Sales Associate, you will be advising our customers and keeping them in style! This role, also referred to internally as Sales Advisor, is crucial for delivering the Best Customer Experience that contributes to the store's sales and profit. You will always put customers first, offer assistance, and share your Product and Fashion knowledge. Your goal is to create an environment that is easy for our customers to shop through effective Store Operations and Great Garment Care. By sharing your knowledge and skills with colleagues, you will actively contribute to creating a Best Team to meet our customers' expectations. This position requires adherence to H&M standards, policies, procedures, and legal requirements, ensuring a consistent and high-quality shopping experience for all customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include actively greeting and engaging with customers in service areas and on the sales floor to provide the best customer experience. You will support the maintenance of a neat and tidy sales floor, ensuring a positive shopping experience by folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments according to H&M guidelines to maximize selling opportunities. Additionally, you will unload delivery trucks, receive, open, and unpack merchandise, and label items with security tags within efficiency timeline goals. Processing, stocking, and replenishing garments on the sales floor and in the stock room will also be part of your daily tasks. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will ring on the register, report and handle all required transactions, issue receipts, and fold and place merchandise in appropriate bags following the register best practices routine. You will be eager to educate and promote our H&M Loyalty program to customers, sharing your knowledge and skills with colleagues to build a positive working environment. Safety is paramount, and you will work in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation regarding health & safety and security routines, ensuring the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and customers at all times. Following all procedures and routines regarding safety, security, and administrative processes in all areas of the store is essential.
