About The Position

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health is seeking to expand current gynecologic oncology services with the addition of a full-time Gynecologic Oncology Attending. Requirements

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gynecology Oncology
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population a must

Responsibilities

  • Direct gynecologic oncologic care, including chemotherapy, surgery, and management of complex clinical cases
  • Gynecologic surgical care, including minimally invasive techniques
  • Support and consultation to general OBGYN physicians, including difficult benign gynecologic surgical cases
  • Experience in radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies
  • Supervision and teaching to residents and medical students
  • Ambulatory and inpatient duties

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $361,000 (board eligible); $371,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $506,200 (board eligible) and $516,200 (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
