About The Position
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a qualified Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) to join their Riverside University Health System department in developing a practice in Palm Springs, California. The physician will work at a recently established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that is equipped with new buildings and equipment, and qualifies for various government loan repayment assistance programs. This position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse Ob/Gyn population, located just a short distance from Desert Regional Medical Center and its outpatient surgical center. As part of the Faculty Medical Group at Loma Linda University, the selected candidate will hold an appropriate level of faculty appointment. The schedule is full-time, consisting of five days a week, which includes clinic, surgery, and labor and delivery activities. The call schedule will involve approximately one weekday call per week and one weekend call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month, with coverage provided by a DRMC OB Hospitalist group. Clinic activities will be coordinated with a Nurse Practitioner, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. The position also offers full Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) support, with on-site ultrasound and tele-consult availability. Candidates must possess a valid California medical license and a DEA license to qualify for this role. The compensation range for this position is competitive, with a starting base salary between $380,000 and $400,000, adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. This base salary does not include variable compensation or extra productivity, which will be discussed during the recruitment process. The location is attractive for both singles and families, with proximity to mountains, skiing, beaches, and various sports and entertainment venues.
