About The Position
Chelsea Piers is a premier sports and entertainment complex dedicated to inspiring movement, community, and excellence. Our gymnastics program helps young athletes build confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of sport in a positive, high-energy environment. Chelsea Piers Gymnastics is growing, and we’re hiring passionate, driven Team Coaches to support our competitive programs (USAG, Xcel, and Developmental Teams). We’re looking for coaches who are not only skilled, but who are committed to developing athletes, building team culture, and continuously growing themselves.
Requirements
- Experience coaching gymnastics (competitive experience preferred)
- Passion for athlete development and positive coaching impact
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, professional, and energetic
- Commitment to learning and professional growth
Responsibilities
- Instruct both recreational classes and competitive team practices
- Coach and develop athletes during team practices and competitions
- Create a structured, motivating, and athlete-centered environment
- Attend and coach at competitions (additional compensation provided)
- Support progression, skill-building, and athlete confidence
- Collaborate with a strong coaching team
