About The Position
Assistant Varsity Gymnastics Coach Job Summary - Oversee the development of the 7-12 program. Supervise and evaluate coaching staff Order and inventory equipment and make yearly report to Activities Director Direct pre-season and post-season meetings with parents, athletes, and coaching staff Closely follow the rules set forth by the MSHSL Teach and communicate proper fundamentals and strategies of the game Communicate with the media results and statistics when needed Be an advocate of good sportsmanship Maintain detailed stats, and records for post-season and hall of fame awards
Requirements
- Minnesota Department of Education valid coaching certification or valid certificate from the National Federation Coaches Education Program
- Head coaching experience preferable with knowledge and experience in their sport
- Must be a positive role model and provide an enjoyable experience for their athletes
