About The Position

The KDC Gym Manager – Train Like a Pro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of gym operations, including staff leadership, financial performance, facility management, and member experience. This role serves as the senior on-site leader, ensuring operational excellence, safety, profitability, and a high-quality experience for all members and guests.

Requirements

Proven experience managing a gym, fitness facility, or similar operation.
Strong leadership, staff management, and team development skills.
Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and revenue generation.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
CPR and First Aid certification (required or ability to obtain).

Nice To Haves

Background working in youth, athletics, or sports environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate gym staff.
Set performance standards and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed.
Oversee daily gym operations including classes, programs, sales, and memberships.
Ensure all staff comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Develop and manage the gym’s operating budget.
Oversee payroll, staffing costs, maintenance expenses, and operational spending.
Drive revenue growth through memberships, programs, events, and partnerships.
Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
Ensure the gym facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition and safety.
Address member questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating gym environment.
Oversee and support marketing initiatives to attract new members.
Promote gym programs, services, and special events.
Build relationships with the local community, schools, and partners.
Represent the KDC Gym and Train Like a Pro brand professionally.
