About The Position
The Gwinnett County Police Department is hosting a hiring event on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Gwinnett County Police Training Center. This event provides a unique opportunity to complete the first phase of the two-phase hiring process, which includes a physical ability test, orientation, detailed application, and an oral interview. Conditional job offers may be extended during this event. Applicants are encouraged to submit an application prior to attending, and those without appointments are welcome but may experience longer wait times. The entire process typically takes two to three hours, and attendees should bring water and a snack as part of the event will occur outside. Successful candidates will need to complete academy requirements and field training with veteran officers. A pre-employment drug test and random drug and alcohol testing are mandatory.
