Serves as a key member of the Technology leadership team, providing executive direction in shaping and executing the enterprise IT strategy. This role is accountable for driving organizational effectiveness, optimizing financial and operational performance, and ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value. The incumbent will serve as a trusted advisor to the CIO and executive leadership team, ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy and technology capabilities. This position oversees critical functions including IT strategic planning, business operations, financial governance, vendor management, and enterprise performance management. Strategic Direction and Planning Lead the development and execution of the multi-year IT strategic plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and long-term growth objectives. Partner with senior business leaders to translate strategic imperatives into actionable technology and operational plans. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization’s operating model and competitiveness. Operational Excellence and Governance Establish and oversee governance frameworks that ensure the effective execution of enterprise technology initiatives. Drive operational discipline and performance metrics across all IT functions, enabling transparency and accountability for outcomes. Oversee cross-functional programs that enhance collaboration, streamline delivery, and improve efficiency across global teams. Financial Management and Vendor Strategy Direct the IT financial planning and management process, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment optimization. Oversee strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor partnerships to maximize value and innovation. Develop and maintain financial and operational dashboards that communicate performance and return on investment to senior leadership. Organizational Effectiveness and Culture Lead organizational design and workforce planning for the IT organization, ensuring talent, structure, and capabilities align with evolving business needs. Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture centered on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Sponsor leadership development initiatives to strengthen the IT management bench and succession pipeline. Enterprise Transformation and Change Leadership Partner with executives across the enterprise to drive technology-enabled transformation initiatives. Serve as a change champion, promoting alignment between IT strategy, operational processes, and business transformation goals. Ensure that the IT organization is positioned as a proactive enabler of innovation, agility, and business value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business administration, technology management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in technology strategy, operations, or enterprise IT management, including executive-level accountability for large-scale teams and budgets.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and operational governance within complex, global organizations.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams that deliver measurable results.
  • Exceptional executive communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
