About The Position

The Kitchen Steward at Guy Fieri's Restaurant & Bar is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This role is crucial for ensuring that all tableware, glassware, and kitchen equipment are clean and well-stocked, contributing to a memorable dining experience for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods.
• Neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes precisely.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull 100 lbs.
• Ability to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop, and twist while carrying supplies.

Responsibilities

• Wash china, glassware, and silverware.
• Mop and sweep floors, keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Re-stock china, flatware, and glassware as needed.
• Empty trashcans and maintain cleanliness of the loading dock.
• Ensure overall cleanliness of floors as directed by the supervisor.
• Clean walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins, and back hallways.
• Perform daily cleaning and detail of restaurant equipment including deep fryers, hoods, and mixers.
• Meet or exceed all sanitation requirements set by the State of Mississippi and Horseshoe.
• Support safety and accident prevention programs.
• Adhere to garbage separation and disposal standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
