The primary purpose of this position is to install and service/repair gutters in both residential and commercial settings.

Requirements

  • Possess a safety-first mentality
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in gutter installation
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Able to work on ladders and rooftops as necessary – no fear of heights
  • Able to use basic hand tools
  • Able to endure hours of standing, bending, and kneeling
  • Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors, peers, and customers about job status
  • Willingness to learn and handle constructive criticism
  • Self-motivated, disciplined to show up and complete jobs on time
  • Able to modify planned daily activities due to unplanned urgencies

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of the job safely and responsibly – safety must be at the forefront of every decision
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Either as a team Lead or independently, install, service, or repair gutters in a professional and craftsman-like manner
  • Receive and inventory material from vendors to ensure accuracy, quality, and operability
  • Deliver material to job sites and unload product in a safe and orderly fashion
  • Inspect jobsites to ensure they are safe and prepared for installation
  • Interact with vendors, customers, other trades, and subcontractors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly job site at all times
  • Maintain company equipment (i.e., vehicles, trailers, etc.) to the highest standards and ensure all inspections, preventative maintenance, and services are completed as required
  • Complete all paperwork as required or requested, with detailed photos of work completed
  • Participate in meetings, training, Lean activities, and continuous improvement as required
  • Act as a trainer/mentor for newly hired installers
  • Provide solutions to issues that arise while on the job and contact the supervisor when necessary
  • Be a team player who is willing to help coworkers achieve success
  • Other duties as assigned
