About The Position
The gunsmith apprentice position is ideal for those with a passion for learning who want to build a career in the field. The entry level position boasts ample room for growth and immense learning potential. Work alongside some of the industry’s best gun builders, making the premier 1911 style pistols. Our ideal applicant is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and can work as a team as well as independently. Applicants should also be adept at problem solving and be able and willing to learn new skills and apply new knowledge to their work. This entry-level, full-time position is where most team members start. This position consists of firearm finish work and prepping parts for the builders. Fine detail work is a large part of the job, a steady hand and an eye for detail are a must. The ability to accurately measure and read measurements of small parts is necessary. Previous experience with hand tools including Dremel, sanders and files is preferred but not required. Hard working, detail-oriented individuals with the desire to learn are the ideal candidate.
