As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at West Star, you will be essential to many functions including performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems, troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues, and conducting inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with an Airframe and Powerplant License. You will work under the supervision of an assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance, and may be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity. The role involves a variety of tasks such as engine removal/installations, operating ground support equipment, and maintaining the shop facility and equipment. You will be expected to perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and follow all company and safety rules during the performance of your duties.
