Description As a Gulfstream 550 Instructor Pilot at CAE, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of aviation professionals. You will deliver high‑quality simulator and ground school training in accordance with regulatory requirements, CAE’s approved curriculum, and customer expectations. Your responsibilities include: Deliver simulator, flight, and/or classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualification programs. Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings aligned with CAE standards. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding clients throughout their training journey. Complete all required administrative tasks, including training records, qualification tracking, and recommendations for remedial training when needed. Contribute to curriculum and courseware development when required. After approximately 1.5+ years and based on business needs, obtain qualification as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. Perform duties requiring regular movement (stairs, ladders, confined spaces), periods of standing or sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs as outlined in CAE’s physical requirement standards.
