About The Position
Harmony Home Music LLC is dedicated to providing exceptional in-home music lessons while embodying the love of Christ in our interactions with students and their families. As a Guitar Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized music education to students in the Murfreesboro, TN area. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about music and teaching, and who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment. You will be responsible for planning and conducting lessons, ensuring that each student receives tailored instruction that meets their individual needs and goals. In this role, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and determine the number of students you wish to teach. You will be expected to maintain open lines of communication with your students and their families, responding promptly to inquiries and keeping them informed about lesson schedules. Attendance at biannual recitals is also a key expectation, as it provides students with an opportunity to showcase their progress and achievements. As a contractor, you will have the autonomy to choose your teaching methods and curriculum, allowing you to leverage your unique skills and experiences to enhance the learning experience for your students. You will also need to manage your travel to students' homes, with the company striving to minimize travel distances by pairing you with nearby students. Compensation for travel will be provided if you are assigned students who are located farther away.
