Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.Location: NY/Atlanta, GA/Chicago, ILJob Description Role SummaryAct as the functional expert for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter, driving requirements, design, and validation activities across implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead functional design for field changes, business rules, rating logic, questionnaires, underwriting rules, billing plans, claim transactions, and workflows.
  • Ensure solutions align with Guidewire out-of-the-box capabilities and recommend extensions when appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, integration teams, and data teams.
  • Write clear, high‑quality user stories with strong acceptance criteria (INVEST).
  • Own and maintain the product backlog; lead refinement, grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Define SIT/UAT scenarios and data; support functional QA.
  • Validate delivered features, clarify requirements, and assist users during UAT.
  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Provide functional leadership to offshore/onshore BAs and coordinate work across pods.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain functional specs, requirements, traceability, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and security standards.
  • Support operational readiness and transition-to-support activities.
