Responsibilities
- Lead functional design for field changes, business rules, rating logic, questionnaires, underwriting rules, billing plans, claim transactions, and workflows.
- Ensure solutions align with Guidewire out-of-the-box capabilities and recommend extensions when appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with architects, integration teams, and data teams.
- Write clear, high‑quality user stories with strong acceptance criteria (INVEST).
- Own and maintain the product backlog; lead refinement, grooming, and sprint planning.
- Define SIT/UAT scenarios and data; support functional QA.
- Validate delivered features, clarify requirements, and assist users during UAT.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide functional leadership to offshore/onshore BAs and coordinate work across pods.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to project managers and stakeholders.
- Maintain functional specs, requirements, traceability, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and security standards.
- Support operational readiness and transition-to-support activities.
