Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Architecture & Design   Define overall application architecture, including data models, integration patterns, and solution design for Guidewire implementations.Provide architectural leadership across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Guidewire Cloud (if applicable).Create high‑level and low‑level design documents, architecture diagrams, and integration frameworks.Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and best practices.   Technical Leadership   Guide and mentor developers, leads, and configuration teams on Guidewire best practices.Review code, configurations, GOSU scripts, and integration implementations for compliance with design patterns.Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and system reliability.Lead technical solutioning during RFPs, estimations, and project planning phases.   Integration & Data   Architect integrations between Guidewire and external systems (e.g., payment gateways, document management, 3rd‑party insurance data sources).Lead design of APIs, messaging, middleware, ESB integrations, and batch processing.Oversee data migration strategy including ETL mapping, conversion rules, and validation.   Stakeholder Collaboration   Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and BA teams to translate requirements into architectural solutions.Provide guidance during grooming, technical refinement, and scope discussions.Communicate architectural decisions, impacts, and risks to senior leadership and project management teams.   Quality, Governance & Compliance   Establish architectural guardrails, coding standards, and development guidelines.Ensure CI/CD pipeline readiness and DevOps alignment, especially for Guidewire Cloud implementations.Conduct risk assessments, impact analysis, and ensure non‑functional requirements (NFRs) like security, performance, availability, and disaster recovery are met.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Guidewire (Policy/Billing/Claims).
  • Strong experience in GOSU, Guidewire Configuration, Integration (Messaging, Web Services, REST/SOAP).
  • Hands‑on experience designing scalable, enterprise‑grade Guidewire architecture.
  • Experience integrating Guidewire with downstream systems (CRM, DMS, payment systems, data providers).
  • Strong understanding of insurance domain (P&C) products, rating, underwriting, billing, and claims processes.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud, DevOps pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Nice To Haves

  • Guidewire certifications:
  • Guidewire Certified Architect (PC/BC/CC/Cloud)
  • Configuration, Integration, or Cloud certifications
  • Experience with microservices, API gateways, Kafka/MQ, and containerized deployments.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
