About The Position

We are hiring a Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Engineer (IV) to join our robotics team. As a GNC Engineer, you will design, implement, and validate control and localization algorithms that power our unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). Your work will include modeling, simulation, tuning, and real-world deployment in cross-disciplinary environments. You will work closely with embedded software engineers, perception experts, and systems teams to deliver reliable autonomous systems. This role includes both simulation-based development and field implementation. You will directly shape how ASI's autonomous vehicles perform in complex, real-world environments. From tuning controllers on rugged machinery to developing estimation algorithms and deploying systems at customer sites, your work will be essential in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and responsiveness of our robotic platforms. We need engineers who thrive not only in algorithm development but also in real-world deployment and troubleshooting. This is a hybrid position that requires three days (Tuesday through Thursday) on-site.
