As a GNC Engineer, you will join the GN&C team on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program. In this role, you will be involved in many of the following activities: Apply missile guidance, navigation, and control expertise to modeling and simulation Integrate Matlab/Simulink models into a 6-DOF C++ simulation Develop high fidelity models and simulation software Build new source code in C++ and Python Modify code in C++, C, Matlab, Simulink, Fortran, Python, Linux shell, and YAML Create unit tests Execute simulation software on a high performance computing cluster including Linux systems or VMs Work in an Agile DevOps environment with Docker/Container and Kubernetes deployment Collaborate with the performance analysts, Flight Software team, and customer Algorithm Development Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually. Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM field
  • Algorithm development experience
  • C/C++ and/or Matlab programming experience
  • Must have Final Secret Clearance to start

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with software development, Agility
  • Distributed/parallel processing
  • Familiarity or experience with missile development or fire control
  • Familiarity or experience with Simulink
  • Possess a Secret clearance

Responsibilities
