About The Position
The position is for a School Counselor who will be responsible for implementing corporation policies related to student and parent concerns, assisting with the master schedule and scheduling of all students, and counseling individuals and small groups of students toward social and emotional growth. The counselor will coordinate counseling services with outside agencies and manage College and Career Readiness programming, including activities for 21st Century scholars. Additional responsibilities include assisting in school testing coordination, guiding students in developing educational and career plans, advising on diploma requirements, and organizing College and Career Events. The counselor will also coordinate homebound instruction, assist in student placement decisions, and participate in the intervention/crisis team process. The role requires collaboration with other counselors and adherence to the corporation's evaluation policies.
