We are seeking a Guest Transit Host who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while bringing families closer together and caring deeply about our brand. The right Guest Transit Host will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. The Tram Conductor position is defined by various positions to include Tram Driver, Conductor and Crowd Control. The Tram Conductor is responsible for all aspects of assigned areas, to include safety, friendliness, cleanliness and line speed. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities Greets Guests and initiates friendly interaction. Provides Guest excellence, which exceeds expectations Effectively uses empowerment to ensure Dollywood’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy is implemented Reacts calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations. Physically assist Guests throughout the area as required Effectively performs in the role of Tram Conductor to include (but not limited to): Visually observes trailing cars on multi-unit conveyances for potential safety hazards Visually observes Guest actions during operation to prevent safety hazards Communicates calmly, clearly and professionally with Tram Conductor/Lot Attendants Communicates safety rules and scripted festival/general park information in a manner consistent with the values and mission of The Dollywood Company Completes daily written reports and turn in any necessary paperwork to Parking PIC Works each position in all weather conditions Maintains a sense of urgency toward area of operation to reduce Guest wait time Uses time productively to include sweeping, clearing cobwebs, straightening cones, and other similar items Assists with other areas in parking as needed/requested by Management Wears and maintains a themed costume issued by Dollywood Performs special projects as directed by Management Attends all required Training Classes and Meetings Complies with safety and security directives, policies and procedures to ensure Hosts/Guests safety at all times Maintains confidentiality at all times Follows all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standards Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Basic computer skills
May be required to provide a copy of personal driving record from home state
Must successfully complete a pre-employment offer a background check including motor vehicle and drug screen
Able to make a friendly impression when speaking to or corresponding with guests, vendors, and other employees
Must reflect Dollywood’s image by being genuinely friendly and caring and by taking pride in work
Must be self-motivated and disciplined
Must be able to prioritize and complete work assignments on a timely basis
Must maintain strict confidentiality and judgment regarding privileged information
Must be committed to continuous improvement
Must have professional appearance with good personal hygiene
Must promote and support a “team” work environment by cooperating and helping co-workers

Able to operate/drive a company vehicle with valid TN driver’s license and insurance

Able to sit, stand or walk for long/short periods of time
Able to work in a small, confined area
Able to push and/or pull
Able to bend at the waist and knees for long periods of time
Able to learn additional ticketing system functions
Able to lift 50 lbs
Above average attention to detail and accuracy of information
Ability to memorize safety standards & scripted material
Minimum of 18 years of age is required when/as: Ride Operators at rides designated as High Thrill Attractions (as defined by IAAPA standards) Any activity with use of a motor vehicle to include trams and shuttles Drive vehicles operated exclusively on rails. Work on or ascend lift hills whether in training, normal operations, or evacuations
