About the position

The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Front Desk operations at Hilton Shreveport. This role involves directing staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. The supervisor will manage daily operations, monitor staff performance, and handle guest interactions to create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Front Desk functions in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, and hours of operation.
• Monitor room availability and scheduled in-house group activities.
• Ensure staff report to work as scheduled and document any late or absent employees.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review pertinent information for the day's business.
• Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify any deficiencies.
• Monitor the check-in/check-out process to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Assist guests with reports of lost or stolen articles according to hotel policy.
• Ensure compliance with cashiering procedures and assist Accounting with disputed charges.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and staff.
• Ability to enforce hotel standards and policies with Front Desk staff.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
