About The Position

The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall check-in of guests, organization, and inventory of the merchandise, manage onsite catering team, and campfire entertainment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with customers and providing a positive experience. In this role, you will work diligently with all team members, irrelevant of their position to ensure seamless running of the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferred or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality, customer service type experience
  • Proficient with various PC software applications including MS Office products, Excel, and Google Docs
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read, write and speak English, fluently
  • Proficiency in reading and writing instructions
  • Understanding of basic finance and accounting practices
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers, vendors, customers, and management team
  • Must be able to respond to direction and critiques from supervisors
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and timeliness
  • Must be hospitality driven, enthusiastic, self-motivated, organized, and pay close attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, exercise good judgement, and effectively problem solve
  • Ability to work with other people with a positive work attitude
  • Ability to present a professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manage proper check-in of all guests
  • Ensure all necessary documents and paperwork are completed before start of program
  • Communicate to Lead Trail Guide and Trail Guides any pertinent information captured during the onsite registration process
  • Replenish inventory of registration supplies, mercantile, and all supplies used on campus
  • Encourage guests to purchase souvenirs from the mercantile area and videos of their time on campus
  • Assists the Trail Support when time allows, in the store
  • Works directly with catering team to ensure daily counts and dietary restrictions are accounted for
  • Work directly with local talent agency to confirm talent for evening campfires
  • Work directly with shuttle staff to ensure safe and timely handoff of attendees
  • Oversee Trail Support when under direct supervision
  • Other duties as assigned
