Guest Services Specialist - Full-Time - 11:30am - 8:00pm
About The Position
As a full-time Guest Services Specialist, you will work Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 8:00pm. No holidays or weekends required! This position qualifies for our full benefits package, including our rewarding discretionary quarterly bonuses! The Guest Services Specialist holds a safety sensitive position, and is responsible for transporting patients, guests, and visitors to the appropriate department within the facility, as well as transporting patients from the recovery area to their designated inpatient room. The position also requires parking visitor’s vehicles, staffing registration desks, and to receive all patients, guests, and visitors, in a friendly and respectful manner. This position also provides assistance in the form of information about hospital services as well as facilitating consultation between physicians and patient families. You will be required to provide direction and answer general information inquires.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record required. Drivers under 21 years of age will need to be approved by the insurance carrier
- Current BLS certification or must be acquired within 30 days of hire date through the hospital
Nice To Haves
- Good interpersonal/customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of a medical setting
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, and data entry
- Sound judgement and quick decision making when presented with patients with needs
Responsibilities
