The Guest Services Representative is responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional experience for the Club's members and guests at either the Club's Welcome Center (front gate) or the Front Desk. This role requires a personable, professional, and polished individual who adheres to the OFCC brand and image.

  • 1 year of professional or hospitality work experience.
  • Experienced computer user, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Fluent, written and conversational, English.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk/Guest Services Representative in a hotel or Private Club.
  • Previous experience with a multi-line phone system/switchboard.
  • Prior experience with hotel reservation software, preferably Club Essentials.

Responsibilities

  • Expediates member and guest check-ins and departures.
  • Handles all hotel room reservations, cancellations, and no-shows.
  • Collaborates with other departments as needed.
  • General administrative duties as related to the front desk.
  • Maintains general appearance and cleanliness of immediate workspace.
  • Manages the routing of telephone, mail, email, and other messages to Club Employees, members, and guests.
  • Monitors access to the Club through the Front gate, Colony gate, and Metra gate to ensure only authorized individuals access the Club Property.
  • Politely detours unauthorized visitors from Club Property.
  • Ensures guest requests and needs are correctly filled and promptly completed.
  • Provides concierge-type services to members and guests.
  • Resolves member problems and concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Serves as a guide to members and guests for navigating the Club property.
  • Serves as the gatekeeper of the Club.
  • Stays current on Club Rules & Regulations, Club By-laws, Employee Policies & Procedures, and all club happenings.
  • Provides an excellent first impression and is well-informed.
  • Takes reservations for events and the member dining rooms.
  • Undertakes special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Guest Services Manager.
