Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences, simple medical procedures or terminology or office equipment.
  • Minimum of 12 months of direct customer service or hotel/hospitality experience.
  • Requires standing for full shift while on duty (no sitting or leaning except on break), walking distances to escort visitors, pushing guests in wheelchairs, and other constant physical movements on a routine basis.
  • Also, frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of heavy items long distances and up inclined floors (ie wheelchairs with guests, including bariatric wheelchairs with bariatric guests).
  • Some irregularity in scheduled hours because of compensated overtime requirements, including weekend rotation, or occasional stress due to periodic or cyclical workload pressures.
  • Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort routinely present in the work situation (moderately noisy, disagreeable odors, etc.) or occasional exposure to minor injury or other occupational hazards requiring precaution.
  • Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
  • Some occupational risk
  • Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
  • Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
