About The Position

The Guest Services position has the responsibility to assist and/or direct patients/visitors entering the facility and to provide information to walk-up visitors/patients in a courteous and professional manner. Assist and escort patients in wheelchairs. Assist with PBX/Switchboard duties as assigned. Must be able to recognize signs of potential issues within patients and/or family members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year customer service experience
  • Comfortable using common computer applications

Responsibilities

  • Answer switchboard and information desk telephones in a professional and courteous manner and accurately connecting the caller with either the extension or information they need.
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Consistently ensure positive customer interactions
  • Manages difficult or emotional individual situations
  • Responds promptly to individual needs
  • Responds to requests for service and assistance
  • Fulfills commitments to individuals
