About The Position

At Coborn’s, the Guest Services team sets the tone for every shopping experience. As a Guest Service Manager, you’ll lead the front end with confidence, care, and a strong focus on service. You’ll support and develop your team, keep operations running smoothly, and ensure every guest feels welcomed, supported, and appreciated from the moment they enter the store to the moment they leave. This role is ideal for a people-focused leader who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, and creating an environment where both guests and team members feel valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor the Guest Services team, setting clear expectations and supporting high performance.
  • Create and manage schedules to ensure strong coverage while balancing business needs and team availability.
  • Coach team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
  • Communicate store policies, promotions, and updates to keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Ensure new team members receive proper training and understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Oversee daily front-end operations, including returns, exchanges, special requests, and guest concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Guest Services area, including POS equipment and supplies.
  • Support bookkeeping and cash handling tasks such as balancing tills, audits, and transaction accuracy.
  • Provide hands-on support across the front end including cashiering, bagging, carts, and Guest Services as needed.
  • Serve as backup leadership in the absence of the Guest Service Manager or Senior Guest Service Manager.
  • Maintain strong merchandising standards and a clean, inviting store environment.
  • Deliver remarkable guest service by modeling friendly interactions, proactive assistance, and thoughtful problem-solving.
