About The Position

Welcome to the Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown, where exceptional service and hospitality are our top priorities. We are a renowned hotel located in the heart of downtown Buffalo New York. We are looking for a friendly and professional Guest Services / Front Desk Agent to join our team and provide outstanding service to our guests. As a Guest Services / Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival.
  • Managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Handling guest inquiries and providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Resolving guest complaints and ensuring a pleasant stay.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest needs.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
